Breckon Hill Community Centre offers a variety of courses which can change every 10 to 12 weeks.

These courses are run several times a year, and generally last 9 to 12 weeks, with one two-hour session per week. Due to their popularity, we recommend you inquire early to ensure a place, so feel free to call us or pay a visit to learn more or be added to the waiting list.

Second Chance

“The Second Chance Programme is a course that helps individuals and families live more satisfying and fulfilling lives. Second Chance is a training course which allows you to gain a deeper understanding of how we experience life and the changes we can all implement to make life more simple and less stressful.”

The Prince’s Trust

The Prince’s Trust is a 12 week scheme aimed at helping those aged 16 to 25, leading to qualifications in Employability, Team Work and Community Skills. The course includes residential trips, a community project, work experience and 1 to 1 support with CV creation and interview skills. Feel free to call us or pay a visit to learn more.

Weekly Youth Club

Every Wednesday evening we deliver a youth project aimed at young people aged 11 to 19 years.  Within the youth club we have various activities including arts & crafts, sports, cooking, games and music.

Private Hire

On a weekly basis the following groups also hire the facility to deliver their activities and services:

Weight Watchers every Saturday morning 9am ~11am

Mosum Bengali Community Group every Saturday 11am ~ 1pm

One Ummah Soup Kitchen every Saturday evening 6pm ~ 7pm

Al Quran Academy meet weekdays 5pm ~ 7pm

Ajial Al-Ghad Community Group every Sunday 10am ~ 1pm

Tamil Community Group meet most Sundays 4pm ~ 6pm
